Thesis VC
Context
Thesis Ventures was an early-stage venture capital fund and studio. It provided entrepreneurs with a combination of intellectual, network, and investment capital.
As Creative Director, I gained a unique vantage point into the world of startups and helped to build brands from the ground up. I assisted each of our six portfolio companies on a variety of startup challenges including, brand development, print & web execution, and social media strategy. On the VC side, I helped with deal vetting from an industrial design and UX perspective, along with building out our own internal brand and values.
- Worked with CrowdAlbum CEO to develop brand and product (acquired by Spotify, 2015)
- Worked with Strobe CEO to develop pitch deck, brand, and storytelling (acquired by Ticketmaster, 2016)
- Worked with early-stage founders of Miavina to develop product collateral that led to a partnership with Yves Behar of fuseproject in 2015
- Defined early pitch & brand for the first multi-family Airbnb apartment complexes that led to real estate and property groups Niido & Natiivo
